Before dolls had faces, costumes, and names, there was Kulasut. There was Bata-bata. There was simply a child, a little imagination, and a story waiting to be played.
Children once turned whatever they could find into heroes, creatures, warriors, and legends—giving life to stories through play.
ALAMATIKAZ is our remembrance of that spirit.

We looked back at the stories, traditions, and imagination that came before us and reimagined them for a new generation—not as something newly invented, but as something remembered, rediscovered, and given new life through play.

Sanya Dalakit. Laom. Amaya Bulawan. Bayi Hamili. Mutya Baybay.
Five legends. Five stories. And countless pieces of the culture we grew up with.

But more than anything, ALAMATIKAZ is a love letter to our younger selves—to the children who played pretend, became heroes for an afternoon, turned ordinary things into extraordinary worlds, and found magic in the stories passed down to us.

We hope that somewhere, somehow, these legends can become a part of another child's imagination, too.

🌊 Meet Mutya Baybay. 🌊

Sweet, gentle, and a little shy—but don't let her soft heart fool you. Mutya Baybay is ALAMATIKAZ's interpretation of the Kataw, a mystical being of the sea and a devoted guardian of the coral reefs.🪸

She spends her days singing among the waves and playing with her fish and pawikan friends, caring for the vibrant reef she calls home. But when her home or her ocean friends are threatened, Mutya's gentle nature gives way to a fierce protector. 🪸🐚

Because even the gentlest hearts can be fierce when protecting what they love.

The legend rises with the tide. 🌊✨

A healer, storyteller, advisor, and the village’s ultimate trendsetter, Hamili turns every ceremony into a statement. Draped in vibrant textiles and adorned with gifts from her community, she believes every accessory carries a story—and every story deserves to be remembered. Whether she’s healing the sick, sharing ancient epics, or guiding her community, she doesn’t just follow tradition—she keeps it alive. ✨

Sweet, fearless, and fiercely protective—Amaya Bulawan is ALAMATIKAZ’s interpretation of the Wakwak, reimagined as a guardian of animals and nature.

Inspired by the golden-crowned flying fox, one of the Philippines’ endemic and endangered species, Amaya reminds us that even those misunderstood can become heroes. With her heart as golden as her name, she soars through the night to protect the creatures of the forest and the home they all share.

The legend takes flight. 🌙✨

⚔️ Meet Laom. ⚔️

Brave, steadfast, and guided by honor—Laom is ALAMATIKAZ’s interpretation of the Timawa, the free warriors of pre-colonial Visayan society.

Inspired by the legendary heroes of the Sugidanon epics—Labaw Donggon, Humadapnon, and Dumalapdap—Laom embodies the courage, resilience, and selflessness celebrated in Visayan storytelling. Proudly wearing his patik (traditional Visayan tattoos), each mark symbolizes honor, bravery, and the journey toward becoming a true warrior.

As a skilled seafarer, he follows the stars and the tides, believing that the greatest strength lies not in glory, but in protecting his people.

Graceful, curious, and just a little mischievous—Sanya Dalakit is ALAMATIKAZ's interpretation of the legendary Dalakitnon, mystical beings said to dwell within the ancient Dalakit tree.

Clad in an intricate lihin-lihin, Sanya embodies the elegance, refinement, and prestige associated with Visayan nobility, reimagined through a contemporary fashion doll while remaining rooted in Philippine folklore.
This is only the beginning of the legends. 🌿
