Fashion designing is all about making the best use of one's creativity and skills. It is something people of all ages and generations enjoy. But only the strong and gutsy will thrive in this lucrative and competitive but exciting career. Among them is Brad Shilver Calaycay Agarano, a member of the INFCAD from Pinili, Ilocos Norte. He has always been creative and passionate about fashion and is now among the young up and coming designers of his generation.
Based in Manila, his career and business maybe is at its infancy but clients are steadily pouring in. However, the rise of his fashion business was affected by the pandemic. It really tested his strength and adaptability as a designer and as an entrepreneur. Like most businesses, his shop closed its doors during the peak of the lockdown. It caused a lot of strain to him, even to the point of succumbing to depression. But that did not deter his faith and optimism that better days are ahead. Slowly, as the economy opened again, he is determined to succeed more than ever. He centered his life on having a sound mind and body which he really needed. At the same time, he is also focused on reviving his business. He is now back on track and will certainly surprise us again with more of his imaginative outputs in the coming days.
He is known for his uniqueness, elegance and style. Most of all, Brad Shilver, made a great impact on Philippine Show business this year by designing for singer Regine Velasquez which is to die for and a lot of aspiring designers could only wish for.
The stage is set for this promising talent. We expect a lot of great things to happen. Every has a beginning and definitely, this will be the start of the meteoric rise of Brad Shilver.
