🎨 Inside the Fabric Vault...

One of the most exciting—and nerve-racking—parts of running Spandits was choosing fabrics.

Every time we placed an order, we were taking a chance, ordering 60” rolls of 50-70 yards each. We were taking our best guess. Would the colors look the way we imagined? Would customers love the print as much as we did? Would it become a favorite...or quietly find homes with just a handful of people and take up space on the shelf.

Some prints became instant classics, like Kotinos, Aviva, Impeachmint and Wishful and we reordered them regularly. Those fabrics earned their place in the Spandits story, and what remains in the Fabric Vault is the last of them.

Other prints were more of a leap of faith. Stand for Ukraine was a design we believed in, but it never found the audience we had hoped for. And some of our bright neon prints were produced in much smaller quantities after customers asked for them. They were bright and bold — even if they never became best sellers.

That’s what made this journey so interesting. Every fabric tells a story. Some became fan favorites. Others became hidden treasures.

Now, as we open the Fabric Vault, every remaining yard is the last we have.

Every year, the Beach to Beacon 10K reminds me why I love this running community so much. 💙

The finish line is always exciting, but it’s everything in between that keeps me coming back - the encouragement from volunteers, the cheers from spectators, the music along the way, the bacon that I’ve never stopped to eat, the conversations before the start, so many family members participating and the friendships that grow year after year.

This throwback photo with one of our amazing ambassadors after the race is a reminder that the best part of race day isn’t just the finish time, it’s sharing the experience together.

Our wonderful seamstress has finished sewing the final few pairs of Impeachmint Mantra Icelandic tights, and they just arrived. There’s something bittersweet about opening this package, knowing it’s the last one we’ll ever receive.

These are the final pairs that will be made for Spandits!Once they’re spoken for, that’s the end of this design.

The Montenegro Dress was made for movement, travel, and the kind of days where comfort and adventure go hand in hand.

This dress has a little story behind it. I brought this Mountain Meadows version with me to Montenegro, and it quickly became one of those pieces that proved exactly why we love performance fabrics beyond the trail.

With a flattering tank-style bodice, a fuller, easy-flow skirt, and built-in side pockets, it’s designed to move with you. Made from our Mountain Meadows spandex fabric, it’s lightweight, breathable, quick-drying, and packs beautifully—perfect for travel days, exploring new places, or everyday adventures close to home.

We never had the chance to put the Montenegro Dress into full production before making the decision to close Spandits, so this is the only time it will be available online. We have just two size Smalls available.
