A new wave of visual storytellers is ready to set the record straight.

Sessions will be held from July 24 to August 5, 2026 with the PNP Training Service to be conducted by PCPT RANZ NIKKO B MUร‘OZ of the Information Technology Management Service.

The Beyond the Lens workshop is part of the PNP-ITMS Multimedia Course, which transforms technical proficiency into visual advocacy. We train our PNP personnel not just to operate cameras, but to serve as visual storytellersโ€”documenting the people we serve, the places we protect, and the integrity of the processes that define our daily duty.

1. Physical Rest: Taking a power nap; stretching after a long shift; getting eight hours of sleep.

2. Mental Rest: Scheduling "no-screen" breaks; brain-dumping to-do lists; practicing quiet meditation.

3. Sensory Rest: Dimming the lights; turning off notifications; enjoying a moment of total silence.

4. Creative Rest: Walking through a park; visiting a gallery; watching a sunset without a camera.

5. Emotional Rest: Saying "no" without explaining; being honest about your mood; setting personal boundaries.

6. Social Rest: Spending time with "easy" people; choosing a solo night in; unplugging from social media.

7. Spiritual Rest: Journaling your gratitude; volunteering for a local cause; connecting with a higher purpose.
