As we commemorate the life and legacy of PNoy on the fifth year of his passing, join us for the President Benigno S. Aquino III Memorial Lecture on Leadership and Democracy on June 18, 2026.
This year's lecture will focus on one of the defining achievements of the Aquino administration: the pursuit of a just, inclusive, and lasting peace.
We are honored to welcome Ms. Teresita "Ging" Quintos Deles, former Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process, as this year's keynote speaker. Her lecture is entitled:
“The Unfinished Work of Peace: Democratic Leadership, Governance, and the Pursuit of Inclusive Peace in the Aquino Presidency”.
The event will also feature the launch of the book "PEACEception: Being, Becoming, and Doing Peace Across Fragmented Spaces, a new volume on peacebuilding in the Philippines."
The President Benigno S. Aquino III Memorial Lecture on Leadership and Democracy is organized by the Ninoy and Cory Aquino Foundation (NCAF) and the Ateneo School of Government (ASOG) in partnership with the Ateneo School of Humanities (SOH), and the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Philippines (FES).
