Actor and comedian Bearwin Meily is proving that transformation is possible through faith, discipline, and perseverance.
Once trapped in drug addiction, unhealthy habits, and a destructive lifestyle during his early years in show business, Bearwin has completely turned his life around. Today, he stands as a testimony of God’s grace and redemption, embracing a life centered on faith, family, fitness, and purpose.
His remarkable journey has led him to complete six marathons, numerous multisport races, and two Ironman 70.3 races. Now, on June 7, 2026 at the Century Tuna Ironman Philippines in Subic Bay, Bearwin takes on his biggest challenge yet—his first full Ironman distance.
More than chasing medals or podium finishes, Bearwin’s mission is to inspire others through his story. He is deeply grateful for the unwavering support of his family, friends, coaches, teammates, sponsors, and everyone who has believed in his journey.
“Para sa akin every finish line is a reminder of God’s faithfulness, im always looking back at God’s track record sa buhay ko..”says Bearwin.
This faith-centered mindset is reflected in AO1 (Audience of One), the triathlon team he proudly founded, dedicated to living, training, and competing for an Audience of One: God.
Through his sports advocacy and his page, Pilit Athlete, Bearwin encourages ordinary people to pursue an active lifestyle regardless of age, background, or athletic ability. His message is simple: you don’t have to be an elite athlete to start. The goal is not merely to compete against others, but to enjoy the journey, embrace the discipline, overcome challenges, and simply complete the race.
A self-described “Pilit Athlete,” Bearwin represents every ordinary person who chooses persistence over excuses, consistency over comfort, and faith over fear.
As he prepares to conquer the full Ironman distance, Bearwin continues to inspire countless Filipinos that with God’s grace, no past is too broken, no challenge is too great, and no finish line is beyond reach.
From addiction to Ironman. From brokenness to purpose. From surviving to inspiring.
All for the glory of God👆
