𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗝𝗘𝗖𝗧 𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗡𝗚: 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁

On July 30, 2026, JCI Tabaco successfully conducted Project LINANG at the Tribal Hall, Joroan, Tiwi, Albay, creating meaningful opportunities for the Agta-Tabangnon community through sustainable livelihood development.

The project equipped participants with practical skills in chili garlic paste production and basic product costing, empowering them with the knowledge and confidence to start small businesses and generate sustainable sources of income.

Beyond livelihood training, Project LINANG affirms our commitment to preserving indigenous heritage by fostering self-reliance, economic resilience, and inclusive community development.

This meaningful initiative was made possible through the valuable partnership of 𝗧𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗼 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗝𝗮𝗶𝗹, 𝗕𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗼𝘁.𝗽𝗵, and 𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗠𝗢𝗦 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲, whose shared commitment to community empowerment helped bring this vision to life.

In support of the 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐀𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭 𝐃𝐫𝐮𝐠 𝐀𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐭 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠, JCI Tabaco proudly joined forces with the LGU Tabaco, City Anti-Drug Abuse Council (CADAC), City Health Unit (CHU) Tabaco, City Mental Health Clinic, and the Sangguniang Kabataan of Tabaco City with the organization's advocacy program 𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗘𝗗 𝗔𝗚𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗧 𝗗𝗥𝗨𝗚𝗦: 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮 𝗗𝗿𝘂𝗴-𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲.

The initiative brought together young leaders and community partners to strengthen awareness, promote prevention, and inspire collective action toward building a safer, healthier, and drug-free community.

The program officially opened with a welcome message from 𝐌𝐬. 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐁𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐭, CADAC Focal Person, followed by messages of support from 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐞𝐥 𝐁𝐮𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚 of the Philippine National Police (PNP) Tabaco, 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐑𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐨 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞, Liga ng mga Barangay President, and JCI Tabaco 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬. 𝐕𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞 𝐁. 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐬, who reaffirmed the organization's commitment to empowering youth through leadership and community service.

Participants also gained valuable knowledge from 𝗠𝗿. 𝗡𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗮 of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), who delivered an informative advocacy lecture highlighting the importance of drug prevention, youth engagement, and shared responsibility in creating resilient communities.

JCI Tabaco remains steadfast in its commitment to developing young leaders who create positive change and champion initiatives that promote healthy, safe, and empowered communities.

JCI Tabaco successfully conducted its 𝗢𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 New Membership Orientation at Perpetual Help Paramedical College, bringing together enthusiastic students from different courses to discover the mission, vision, and opportunities that JCI has to offer.

The session introduced young individuals to the values of active citizenship and servant leadership while inspiring them to develop their potential as future community leaders.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the administration of Perpetual Help Paramedical College for welcoming us and to all the students who participated with curiosity and enthusiasm.

We look forward to seeing more young leaders step forward, create positive change, and make a lasting impact in their communities.

JCI Tabaco co-hosted the 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 held on June 2, 2026, providing members with an opportunity to strengthen their knowledge of effective meeting management, leadership, and organizational governance.

The session was led by 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝘆. 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗗𝗟 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗼, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗝𝗖𝗜 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀, who shared valuable insights on the principles and proper application of parliamentary procedure. His expertise empowered participants with the skills to conduct meetings efficiently, make informed decisions, and uphold the highest standards of leadership within JCI.

JCI Tabaco proudly co-hosted the SILI Session Training held on June 20, 2026, via Zoom, bringing together JCI members for another meaningful learning opportunity.

The session featured 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐲. 𝐑𝐚𝐢𝐚 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞 𝐀. 𝐓𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚, 2026 Deputy General Legal Counsel of JCI Philippines, who shared valuable insights on the𝐉𝐂𝐈 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥, with a special focus on 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐉𝐂𝐈 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐉𝐄𝐂𝐓 𝐁𝐀𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐈: 𝐍𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧

As part of JCI Tabaco's commitment to empowering indigenous communities, Project BAHANDI was successfully conducted for the Agta-Tabangnon children of Joroan, Tiwi, Albay, bringing a day filled with learning, joy, and hope.

The activity featured storytelling, a feeding program, interactive games, and the distribution of 30 Bags of Hope to the children, creating meaningful moments that inspired smiles and encouraged dreams for a brighter future.

This meaningful initiative was made possible through the collaboration and generosity of our valued partners: 𝐓𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐨 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐭 𝐉𝐚𝐢𝐥, led by 𝐉𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐨 𝐈𝐈; 𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐌𝐎𝐒 Cooperative, with the Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) who skillfully printed the Bags of Hope; 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐊𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐥 𝐋𝐚𝐠𝐦𝐚𝐧 of the 𝐀𝐥𝐛𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐭 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞; 𝐁𝐢𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐨𝐭.𝐩𝐡; the 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 of 𝐉𝐨𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐧; and 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐟𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨 𝐂𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐨 of the 𝐀𝐠𝐭𝐚-𝐓𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐧𝐨𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲.

Project BAHANDI is more than a day of giving—it is a reminder that every child deserves the opportunity to dream, learn, and thrive. By reaching communities beyond mountain slopes, beyond distance, and beyond differences in race or culture, we affirm that compassion knows no boundaries.
