There’s something interesting about the women Naveen Naqvi (Naveen Naqvi) brings to the screen. 🌷

They’re not always the characters you agree with. Sometimes, they’re the very people whose decisions you find yourself questioning.

And that’s part of what makes them worth watching. 📺

Naveen herself has had quite a journey. From modelling and television to journalism and acting, she’s spent years telling stories in one way or another.

And now, in Dar-e-Nijaat, she plays Shamsa, Zaryab’s mother.

A woman who loves her daughter, stands up for her, and believes she’s doing what’s best for her. Even when that means overlooking things she probably shouldn’t.

What’s interesting is that you can see where she’s coming from without necessarily agreeing with her. And perhaps that’s what makes a character feel real. People aren’t always right or wrong. Sometimes, they’re a little bit of both. 🌗

On another note, we’d like to thank Naveen for choosing to wear Manto in Dar-e-Nijaat. There’s something genuinely special about seeing our clothes become part of a character’s everyday life on screen.
