Every artist has a creative process. Mine apparently includes carrying around the cushion I designed and treating it like my personal confidence coach. 🎨

The cameraman is waiting. The setup is ready. The lighting is perfect. And there I am, hugging the cushion as if we're about to walk into an important meeting together.

To be fair, we've both worked hard for this moment. One started as an idea, went through sketches, colours, fabrics, and countless little decisions. The other is the cushion. 💀✨

So if I seem unusually confident during this shoot, just know it's because I brought my handmade emotional support system with me. 🛋️🤍

Every afternoon, Ms. Nimra comes over and our artist spends time working on designs and painting together. 🎨✨

When people ask what our creative process looks like, we imagine they expect something very artistic and serious. 😭

The reality is usually this:

Ms. Nimra: “Add a few strokes here.”
Our artist: “Done.”

Ms. Nimra: “Now paint this section.”
Our artist: “Done.”

Ms. Nimra: “Let’s finish the design.”
Our artist: “Done… now can we have tea?” ☕💀

She’s focused on colours, details, and making sure every design looks perfect. Meanwhile, our artist keeps a close eye on the clock, waiting for the moment someone mentions chai. 😭✨

Don’t get her wrong, she love painting and creating new designs. There’s something special about watching a blank piece slowly come to life with colour and creativity. 🎨🤍

However, every successful painting session is powered by teamwork, creativity, and at least one cup of tea. 😎 ☕✨

Our artist is all set with her newest cushion collection — colours in place, setup styled, every detail ready for the frame… but the real preparation is still happening in front of the mirror.

One more hair flip. Just one more. (Or maybe three.) ✨

Somewhere between styling cushions and styling herself, the shoot slowly turns into a full creative moment — where perfection isn’t rushed, it’s adjusted… strand by strand. 💫

And only when the hair flip feels right… the camera finally gets its “action.” 🎬
