I disappeared for a while but I didn’t give up.

Day 19 of my One Year Challenge and honestly, this wasn’t how I planned my journey.

I came from Islamabad to Lahore for Eid thinking I would stay for just a few days and then return.

But sometimes Allah changes our plans because He knows what we don’t.

Haya Threads had to pause. My setup was still in Islamabad, my routine was completely disrupted, and there were things at home that needed my attention.

For a while, I couldn’t focus on the business the way I wanted to.

But today, I’m starting again.

Not from zero.

From experience.

Because taking a pause doesn’t mean you’ve failed.
Sometimes you simply need to slow down, take care of what matters, and then begin again.

Bismillah for this new chapter. 🧕🏻✨

The first day is always the hardest.
Especially when you're trying something that changes a part of your everyday life.
The first day of hijab can feel uncomfortable.
You might keep adjusting it.
You might wonder if you look different.
You might worry about what people will say.
You might even think:
“Kya main ye hamesha kar paungi?”
But don't let the difficulty of your first day make you doubt the beauty of your decision.
You don't have to become perfect overnight.
Take one day at a time.
Learn how to style it.
Find fabrics that make you comfortable.
Give yourself time to adjust.
And most importantly, remember why you started.
Hijab isn't just about changing the way you dress.
For many women, it's a journey of coming closer to Allah and every journey has a beginning.
So if today is your first day of hijab, don't be too hard on yourself.
Your first day doesn't have to be perfect. It just has to begin. 🧕🏻
May Allah make the journey of every sister who chooses hijab easy, beautiful and full of istiqamat. Ameen. 🤲🏻

The parcel came back. 💔
And during Dhul Hijjah, it made me think about something much bigger than just a returned order.
As a small business owner, a returned parcel means more than losing a sale.
It can mean losing the shipping cost, packaging cost, time and effort that went into preparing that order.
For a moment, I felt like I had lost.
But then I reminded myself:
Allah doesn't measure our rizq only through the orders that reach us.
Sometimes the lesson is the rizq.
Sometimes patience is the rizq.
Sometimes Allah protects us from something we don't understand.
And sometimes what looks like a loss on our spreadsheet isn't necessarily a loss in Allah's plan.
Dhul Hijjah reminded me to have sabr, shukr and tawakkul.
So instead of letting one returned parcel stop me, I packed the next one.
Because building a business means learning how to handle both:
“Order received.”
and
“Parcel returned.”
And through both, I want to keep trusting Allah.
May Allah put barakah in our halal businesses, protect us from unnecessary losses and give us the strength to continue when things don't go according to plan.
Ameen. 🤲🏻

Today one of my parcels got returned 📦😭

And honestly , people think small businesses only deal with “cute packaging” and aesthetic reels.

But nobody talks about:
cancelled orders,
returned parcels,
courier stress,
and the emotional attachment behind every package 🤌🏻

Still learning to do my part, make dua and leave the rest to Allah 🙌🏻💞

Today I felt a temptation that almost every content creator probably feels. 👀

The pressure to use trending audios.
The pressure to grow faster.
The pressure to go viral.

And honestly… for a second I thought:
“Maybe I should do it too.”
Because when you’re building a brand from zero, low views can really affect your heart sometimes.

But then I asked myself:

What if a reel goes viral…
but there’s no barakah in it?

So maybe my growth will be slower.
Maybe my reels won’t hit millions.
