• Thinking Pilates gives you a specific “body type”
I’ve been teaching for years and my classes are full of completely different bodies…different ages, shapes, fitness levels. Pilates is for strength, longevity, and feeling good in your body…not chasing an aesthetic.
• The pressure to look a certain way or have the “Pilates girl” vibe
You do NOT need a matching set or expensive outfit to show up….people come back because of how you make them feel, not what you’re wearing.
• Instructors building only online audiences on social platforms with no real in-person teaching experience.
Pilates is about connection, coaching, and understanding bodies. You develop that skill by teaching real people…not just performing for a camera.
Pilates isn’t an aesthetic. It’s a practice.
