completely wrapped in one of my paintings and it felt so vibrant yet etherial. We have completed the first three shows of our fall tour, with four left ending in NYC at the Town Hall, the audiences so far have been magical, warm and friendly. Thank You

Pheonix Dress
It started with my obsession over Madelaine Vionnet, a French fashion designer from 1920, famous for pioneering the revolutionary 'bias-cut' dress, draped expertly over the body. By recreating one of her dress I came up to Annie Haslam's attention . She is the lead singer of progressive rock band Renaissance and asked me to create her stage costumes for The Legacy Tour 2022-A Celebration of Annie Haslam's 75th Year!

We are proud for participating and being included among the 40 international artists.
"The ArtWear Biennial is dedicated to highlighting the work of wearable art artists. ArtWear's goal is to present innovative and wearable work of the highest quality and provide a forum to share enthusiasm for an exploration of techniques and materials. The week-long event includes a theatrical fashion show and sales gallery that double as a fundraiser for The Lincoln Center’s Visual Arts Program."

Madeleine Vionnet (1876-1975),a French couturier, was famous for pioneering the revolutionary 'bias-cut' dress, draped expertly over the body, which changed the shape of women's fashion.

As an homage, I've created this unique dress, by using hand printed scarves with art by Annie Haslam.
