Hello, everyone for today I prepared for you an enhancing Awajun beaded bracelet from the Peruvian Amazon.Awajún, also known as Aguaruna, are an indigenous people located in the northern part of the Peruvian Amazon.
In the Awajún worldview, there are three powerful beings: Nugkui (spirit of the earth), Etsa (spirit of the forest) and Tsuqki (spirit of the water). Nature is personified and it is believed that these spirits help protect and heal sick people. There are three important worlds: heaven (where the gods and ancient warriors live), Earth (where humans, animals, plants, and some supernatural beings live), and the underground world.

The meaning of the word mandala in Sanskrit is circle. Mandala is a spiritual and ritual symbol in Hinduism and Buddhism, representing the universe. Tagua nut is a rainforest nut known as vegetable ivory for its likeness to animal ivory. These are seeds that grow in pods called cabezas, from the tagua nut palm tree. Tagua's smooth, hard texture is an ideal medium for carving jewelry, boxes and other figurines or using the whole seed as beads for necklaces and bracelets. ́
