Save this for later! 👇 My top 8 tips for starting a successful Polymer Clay Business! 🤩🤩🤩 Read the caption to see my top 3 or the 8!
It's not always easy to hit all of these points when you first start any craft because it takes time to find your style ✨ and your voice 👧 I still struggle with keeping these consistent, but having a visual guide helps!
These tips are the ones I've found that really helps me with bringing CLAYPLAY forward because I helps me be clear with my ❤️ intention of continuing to work on CLAYPLAY apart from it just being my passion!
📢 #1. Branding
Branding is one of the most important points because not only will it distinguish you from your competition but keeping your designs aligned with your brand image is a good thing to keep in mind especially when you have those pesky creative blocks! Ask yourself what your brand stands for and what your brand is known for and use that as a guide for your next design if you're ever stuck!
📢 #2. Photography
Photography ties hand in hand with your branding and like it - you also have to find your style and your voice. Your branding is not just in the words you say but also the content you put out. I know I'm not exactly the best at putting out photos (because I usually only shoot at night and my ring light is s**t) but keeping your brand in mind while photographing your products will make your brand more cohesive as a whole!
📢 #3. Be Yourself
Being authentic when you're building your brand as a small business is important because when you promote yourself as a small business, people want to know the person they're supporting and what they stand for so that there's a layer of trust - that they're getting their money's worth!
