Hippie Chicks by VAN was created to serve and do better for our girls. We never get tired of all the appreciative notes/ messages we get from customers, both mom and the girls themselves, who tell us how much they love our junior bras. This is nice ♥️ 🩷♥️🩷♥️🩷♥️🩷🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 thank you!

And that was how Hippie Chicks by VAN came about.

Unhappy with a shopping experience to buy a first bra for her daughter, our founder, Van noted the lack of choices, from designs to colours, in the teenage & junior bra segment. Whatever was out there was also of questionable quality where the cutting and equally important, the coverage fell short.

So, instead of settling and complaining, Van boot-strapped and started to design and manufacture junior bras using the best quality material where every bra was thoughtfully made with the tweens and teens in mind.

“This is an important milestone in every girl’s life’s experience… buying her first bra…, bras which she will enjoy wearing as a tween or a teenager, where she does not feel awkward from the moment she shops, where she gets to choose from fun colours and most important, where both her comfort & modesty are not compromised” ~ Van ♥️🙂👯‍♀️⭐️.

And that was exactly what I did! When I took my daughter to buy her first bra, we were disappointed with what was available; from the quality, designs, shape and colours - not to mention the awkward shopping experience.

So instead of grumbling or complaining, I decided to do something about it. And 19 months later, voila! Hippie Chicks by VAN was launched.
