Seas of Silk Seas of Silk is a Community Enagagement Project We are a Community Engagement Project, supported by Graduate College, NTU, Singapore.

Seas of Silk (SoS) is a walking journey evoking a sense of belonging to the idea of Singapore through the eyes, expressions, and emotions of its inhabitants. In this community engagement project, we invite residents of Singapore to come together to intimately explore the shorelines, water bodies, and associated nature of the island. Walkers take photographs, collect materials, and write personal r

eflections. These come to life in powerful silk pennants, produced by Kinetika (https://kinetika.co.uk), an internationally renowned organization, well known for their work in community projects all over the world. Seas of Silk culminates in an exhibition of these silk flags at the NTU Campus in February 2023.
