Nayyab by Arti Mittra Designing is her passion and virtually captures a melange of eclectic ideas in her creations.

A woman who with her natural flare and passion for fashion took up to threads, needles and fabrics to design clothes for herself, family and friends all across the globe and subsequently took a large leap & went commercial. Presently based in Shanghai she has been showcasing her traditional and contemporary fashion creations through fashion shows, exhibitions,bazaars,weddings and other social gat

herings.She has ventured into the Indian wedding industry. She designed the outfits for the bride for the first Indian wedding in Shanghai in Dec2008.She has choreographed fashion shows where Chinese models wore Indian creations designed by Arti Mittra,and walked the ramp in Shanghai, the first of its kind in a Chinese metro. Her creative outpourings caters to connoisseurs who love the impeccable intricate hand detailing. Quality,Exclusivity,Elegance and well finished custom-made creations is her ethos.Her endeavor is to design and tailor make garments for the Women of today,which are enriched with traditional embroideries and fabrics from different parts of India. Arti contemporizes the elegance of yester years primarily through the various designs and stitches - Chikankari, Badla, Gota-Patti, Kundan, Zardosi, Kamdani,Pulkari,Aari work, Resham, Zari work,Stone &sequence work ,etc which come from the various states of India. Her label "Arti Mittra" was born from the influence of her early upbringing in Lucknow,India and the Lucknavi heritage and a
fondness for antique art blended with a contemporary vision. Arti Mittra's clientele is in the UK,Middle east,Far and South East Asia.
