he Sari is one of the most versatile piece of clothing that can be draped in more than 80 ways. The way to drape a sari, the weaves and patterns are unique to regions across the length and breadth of India. Thread Talk will try and introduce you to the beauty of saris from the eastern part of India, which are breath taking, elaborate but unfortunately, lesser known than the bling that Bollywood promotes. Our line of dupattas are brightly and boldly Indian, adopting motifs common in ancient Indian Art. We are so proud to include in our line, jewellery made from botanicals (seeds and grains) from a social enterprise in the southern part of India. This enterprise is not only trying to revive the beauty of wearing natural, botanical jewellery but also generating employment for rural women in the region.
