Preloved baby carriers for donation to SafePlace
Many thanks to Soul Singapore for the donation of this whole batch!
I spent several days over the last fortnight prepping these carriers that we will be handing over to SafePlace tomorrow… Collected and brought them home, washed, checked the condition, adjusted to newborn settings, printed a self-made label with simple usage instructions, and packed. Concludes another batch that would be going out to the mums at SafePlace. In the blink of an eye, has been 4 years since we sent the first batch of preloved carriers to SafePlace.
A common issue with preloved carriers we encounter is the loose elastic that bundle the strap ends. We bought a big roll of black elastic, cut and sew into small loops. Bundled the strap ends slightly wider, so that it is less likely for our DIY elastic loops to fall off. An easier alternative for those with the same issue - black hair ties.
