When the whole city dresses for the celebration.

During Singapore’s National Day celebrations, buildings across the city light up in red and white. And Marina Bay Sands? It went all in — with the Singapore flag glowing across the iconic rooftop. 🇸🇬

One of my favourite discoveries from the National Day Concert. 🇸🇬

I had never heard Stylish Thamizhachi before, but from the very first beat I was hooked. It felt like the energy of Bollywood with a modern pop and K-pop vibe.

Later I learned that “Thamizhachi” means “Tamil woman”, and the song celebrates confidence, culture and pride. It was the perfect reminder that Singapore’s National Day isn’t just about one culture—it’s about celebrating all the communities that make this country what it is.

Not Alone isn’t just another National Day song. Written and performed by Benjamin Kheng, it became Singapore’s 2024 National Day anthem—a reminder that no matter where we come from, we’re stronger when we stand together.

Watching thousands of people sing every word gave me goosebumps. And sharing the stage with the incredibly talented Shayne Ko on the keyboard made the performance even more special. What a young musician!

You don’t have to be Singaporean to feel the emotion behind this song.

I came to celebrate Singapore’s National Day… and unexpectedly found myself at a rock concert. 🤘🇸🇬

Benjamin Kheng brought so much energy to the stage that the whole crowd was singing along. Now I completely understand why everyone was so excited when he walked on stage.

35,000 people. One unforgettable Singapore experience. 🇸🇬

Last night, I joined around 35,000 people at the National Day Live Concert at Gardens by the Bay. The energy was incredible, the performances were amazing, and the atmosphere was something I’ll remember for a long time.

And yes… if you watched the live broadcast, I was somewhere in that crowd. 😄
