The New York Review of Books gives some optimism on Ebola in Liberia. I hope this is true and true for Sierra Leone also!

Even as Ebola hysteria rages in the US, the epidemic here in Liberia, which is supposed to be its epicenter, seems to be subsiding.

Some glimmer of good news exists, despite the alarmist headline.

"Dr. Thomas R. Frieden, the C.D.C. director, said the situation appeared to have improved since then because more aid had begun to reach the region."

In the worst case, Liberia and Sierra Leone could have 21,000 cases by Sept. 30 and 1.4 million by Jan. 20; in the best model, the epidemic in both countries would be “almost ended” by then.
