The impossible will take a little while…

Being an entrepreneur in Sierra Leone is waking up every day between “𝐈 𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐭” 𝐚𝐧𝐝 “𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐲.”

I know that feeling all too well: moving between giving up and getting back up; telling yourself you can’t do this for another day, then finding just enough energy for one more.

Your heart swings like a pendulum.

𝐇𝐨𝐩𝐞. 𝐇𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬. 𝐇𝐨𝐩𝐞.

Because this isn’t about profit. It’s about proof.
Proof that something can work here. Be built here. Succeed here.

One day you’re done. Next day you’re digging deep again.

This life we chose is bigger than revenue. Bigger than income.
So failing doesn’t feel personal.
It feels like failing a country.

Quitting the business feels like quitting on Sierra Leone.
Because when we set out to do the impossible, it was mostly to prove that Sierra Leone can.

That’s the weight Salone founders carry.
