Simple, classy, and made with intention 💙

Made this two-piece set for a client, and I honestly love how it came out. 😍

Sometimes, it’s the simple designs that remind you that good sewing is all about the details. From the collar to the sleeves and the overall fit, everything was made with my client in mind☺️❤️

Fashion has really evolved!

Looking at this pictures just took me back! 😂❤️

Back when you’ll choose a style from a magazine, take it to the tailor, and somehow get a completely different outcome. 😂😂 Yet somehow, you’ll still wear it!
Because you do not have a choice 😂

From those simple but beautiful old-school styles to today’s corsets, structured designs, embellishments and all the creativity we see in fashion now.
We’ve really come a long way!

But what’s funny is that some of those old styles are now coming back with a modern twist. 🥰

And honestly, I never imagined myself becoming a tailor. 😂 Life really has a way of taking us places we never planned for.

DEAR CUSTOMERS, PLEASE GATHER HERE 😂😂🪑
Here are Some of the excuses we hear when we tell you the price of your outfit:

😂 “I will not wear it again.”
😂 “I have a sister that sews.”
😂 “But it’s just a simple dress.”
😂 “I only need it for one day.”
😂 “reduce the price for me and I will keep coming”
😂 “I’ll bring plenty customers for you.”
😂 “We’ve known each other for years.” 😭
😂 “It’s just a little adjustment.”

But dear customers, let’s talk business for a minute. ❤️
Whether you wear the outfit once, twice, or never wear it again, the price of the materials doesn’t reduce. 😂

The fabric still has to be bought.
The lining still has to be bought.
The zipper, thread, boning, embellishments and other materials still cost money.
And most importantly…
TIME DOES NOT BECOME FREE BECAUSE YOU’RE ONLY WEARING THE OUTFIT ONCE. 😂

From taking your measurements, drafting, cutting, sewing, fitting, correcting, pressing and finishing — all that time and skill are part of what you’re paying for. ✂️🧵

So please, when your seamstress gives you a price, remember:
YOU ARE NOT JUST PAYING FOR A CLOTH,
YOU ARE PAYING FOR THE CRAFT. ❤️
Respect the hands that turn your fabric into something beautiful. 🥰
