Dr. Ayiei Garang Deng Ayiei, PhD, Director General of the South Sudan Civil Aviation Authority (SSCAA), has issued a directive on the removal and demolition of temporary structures at Juba International Airport.
As part of the ongoing modernization of the airport, all temporary structures not included in the approved Airport Master Plan will be demolished within 30 days.
This applies to all operators, tenants, and structure owners, except Military VIP and Presidential Terminal.
Affected parties must be clear and vacate immediately and may seek space at the Aviation Plaza or outside the airport.

🚨 Qatar Airways says its regular flights remain temporarily suspended due to the closure of Qatari airspace.

However, after limited approval from the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority, the airline plans to operate a small number of special flights in the coming days to help passengers affected by the disruption.

These flights do not mean normal operations have resumed.

Passengers are advised not to go to the airport unless they have a confirmed ticket.

Travellers with bookings between 28 Feb - 22 Mar 2026can choose:
• Two free date changes (within 14 days), or
• A full refund.
