Ok ok, so I'm super impressed and proud. I've been fiddling with one of my new toys for a while. Whilst this may seem like just simple dress and like sharls you've done more complicated s**+ than this so like why are you bragging....I'm not bragging, I'm humbled by the fact that I can teach myself things as I grow. Alterations are sometimes as simple as....say what?
There isn't anything simple about alterations 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I do go through these stages though:
yeah I can fix that!
Why did I say I can fix that?!?! * Questions life choice**
And then to the magical end....me to self: " told you I am a magician"
So this beauty right here had a complete overhaul:
Removed waistband, removed zipper and side seam stitching. Adjusted three layers of skirt, length of skirt and then put everything back together in better condition than found 😅
The top portion was completely dismantled sleeves and all, adjusted armholes, added bust darts, re-did back darts, reshaped sleeves, shaped side seams, changed all the hook and eyes and put back together....

Now for the hard part! When will the customer arrive so I can see my work in action ....the wait is killing me!!!!

Of course of course I'm not mad (not yet) I did do a fitting in between 😊
