Description: This is the third artwork from a series called ‘Sis’. This third version is an image of a lady with a headwrap that has both traditional and modern patterns. The headwrap represents the mind and thoughts of a present-day woman. This woman is struggling to honor traditional methods, that may sometime not work for her, while embracing the modern methods, that favor her, but not necessarily accepted by her own. The reality of what it can look like when we accelerate action for women. It is not an easy reality, but it is possible.
