This holiday, let your teen’s creativity shine!

Kooza Clothing Couture invites young dreamers (ages 12 & above) to our Holiday Makers Art Class, a vibrant space to sew, paint, bead, and build something beautiful with your hands and imagination.

From 3rd Dec to 10th Jan 2026, every Wednesday and Saturday. 8am to 2pm, we’ll dive into fun, skill-building sessions designed to boost creativity, confidence, and purposeful use of time. This 5 weeks program is at only 150,000UGX

Due to limited spaces available, only the first 10 applicants will be considered. Registration is in progress at 25000UGX.

I’m RUTH KAKOOZA, a self-taught Fashion designer, a storyteller and Afro dancer. I am passionate about using Afrocentric fashion as a tool for healing, empowerment, and cultural expression. I foundedKooza Clothing Couturee , formerly Ntuha, a brand born out of personal resilience and the need for redefinition. After navigating the global pandemic with deep financial instability as a single mother, I was forced to pause, reflect and reimagine into creating clothing with the intention.

Kooza Clothing Couture is a contemporary Afrocentric brand for exceptional women who embrace bold self-expression daily. She blends vintage dress form designs from the 1950’s to early 2000’s with modern couture. Kooza creates timeless pieces that celebrate Pan-African identity by dominantly using African print fabrics. Every design empowers women to own their individuality, embody confidence, and experiment fearlessly with fashion.

Kooza designs are more than clothing, they are human-centered stories of identity, resilience, and pride in African heritage. Each piece is crafted not just for beauty, but to affirm confidence and open doors to economic freedom. Kooza collaborates with women who are often overlooked,survivors of trauma, single mothers, and youth in underserved communities. Kooza trains them skills in hand crafts and tailoring, turning their struggle into art and using their skill to cope and rebuild a sense of self. This has helped them create income streams which has improved their livelihood so far.
