Santa ANZO, Goodwill Ambassador of the World Fashion Exhibition®️
Kampala, Uganda — October 23, 2025

I am deeply honored to accept my appointment as Goodwill Ambassador of the World Fashion Exhibition®️ (WFE) under the global campaign “Give Your Light to the World – Africa Now.”
This appointment is both humbling and inspiring. It affirms nearly three decades of my journey in fashion, a journey rooted in purpose, authenticity, and an unshakable belief that Africa’s creative spirit is a force for global transformation.
As I take on this noble role, I reaffirm my commitment to advancing the WFE’s mission of empowering women, promoting sustainability, and bringing clean water and dignity to communities across Africa. Together, we will use the language of fashion, a universal language of creativity, innovation, and identity, to spark hope, opportunity, and impact where it is needed most.

Through ARAPAPA and the Uganda International Fashion Week, I look forward to collaborating with fellow visionaries, designers, and changemakers to amplify Africa’s creative excellence on the world stage.

This honor is not mine alone- it belongs to every woman, artisan, and creative across the continent who dares to dream, create, and lead.
Africa’s time is now, and our light will shine for the world to see.
