Once upon a chilly winter night, an arctic fox wandered a little too far south… trading snowy whites for cozy browns.

Along the way, he met a tiny festive traveler—a Santa turtle spreading holiday cheer wherever he goes.

He didn’t change all at once…
First, glowing white eyes, quietly watching from the shadows. Then stitch by stitch, something awakened…
The wings grew bolder, the presence stronger…Until those eyes burned red, fully evolved and ready to emerge. This evolving Mothman was such a fun make, and I’m obsessed with how the transformation tells a story all on its own.
Pattern used is the new Mothman pattern by — and it’s a must-make if you love a little mystery in your crochet!
