Physicists, Data Scientists and Inventor, Valerie Thomas received a patent for her invention of the Illusion Transmitter, used in surgery and the production of television and video screens. Thomas was also responsible for developing the Digital Media formats that image processing systems used in the early years of NASA Landsat program.

While working at NASA, she introduced a way to transmit three-dimensional images or holograms that appears to be real.

Her groundbreaking work is still used today across many fields.

We’re putting your donations to work!

The Peppa jar team will be in Kpatawee next weekend (October 6-8, 2023) to create a full back-to-school STEAM experience and distribute basic school supplies to 200 elementary students (Grades 1-6).

We will have a full day of fun with our STEAM Activities that involve hands-on experiments, interactive demonstrations and creative projects that stimulate young minds.

It only takes $10 to make sure that a child is fully equipped for the new school year and we are accepting donations to make this happen.

This week our team began a month long process of onboarding a new cohort of 10th graders at Isaac A. David Memorial High School along with three of their teachers.

Still carrying on Loop Academies’ vision of reimagining secondary education through software and active learning, this onboarding with IAD focuses on team building skills, presentation skills, creating good study habits, collaboration, technology use, etc. with both teachers and students.
