Introducing She’s Dynamite: Gold Label
Coming soon: a new creative chapter for She’s Dynamite, and a fresh look around here.
Starting next month, I’ll be shifting away from the current made-to-order model and moving towards a ready-to-wear approach. I’ll be using vintage and deadstock fabrics, along with my ever growing stash of remnants, to create extremely limited and mostly one-of-a-kind pieces. These will be released in monthly drops of around 8–12 exclusive designs.
This is a change I’ve been dreaming about for a while. It’ll give me the freedom to follow my creativity and bring more of the ideas in my head and sketchbook to life. I also love the hunt for exciting and rare fabrics and enjoy realising their potential in a sustainable way.
Gold Label pieces will come in a range of sizes, and wherever I can, I’ll incorporate tricks and features like corset-style backs and elasticated panels to help each piece fit a range of body shapes.
I know custom sizing has been a big reason many of you shop with me, and that won’t be going away entirely. While availability will be reduced, it will still be an option. My commissions will always be open to those of you who want to send me your own vintage and treasured fabrics, as these projects have always been my favourite.
To the small but mighty group of loyal customers who’ve been with me for years (you know who you are) with wardrobes full of my dresses, always excited for the next piece, and often with an order already in the works… we’ll always have our special relationship. Your support has meant more than I can say, and I’ll always make time for your projects.
And if you’re here just to admire the pretty dresses– you’re in luck! I’ll need to be much more active on here, sharing everything I make, not just the small fraction I currently show.
