These are the moments every artist/maker/business owner live for. 😢♥️🕯️

A while back we were asked if we could ship two Sadie’s candles to Las Vegas, Nevada. Little did we know it would tug on our heart strings so much.

They were for two sisters who lost their mom three years ago. They had always gone to Sadie’s with their mom on special occasions and miss her and New Mexico dearly. So on the three year anniversary of their mom’s passing, one sister gifted the other a candle.

So while they couldn’t be with their mom or at Sadie’s yesterday they chose to light their candles in her honor and memory. 🪽🕯️♥️🥹

Danny and I have both lived out of NM and longed for a small piece of home at times and we are also no stranger to loss. So we were so touched about this story. It literally brought me to tears yesterday.

This is part of the reason I started making these candles. I call them a little piece of New Mexico in a jar because they are bischocito scented. They are very small batch but made with sooo much L♥️VE.

We’re proud to officially announce that we are now NM true certified on all of our apparel.

From day one, we’ve poured our whole hearts into representing Albuquerque. Every design we’ve made, every market we’ve shown up to, every partnership we’ve curated, every conversation we’ve had…has all been building up to this.

Being recognized by the New Mexico True Tourism Department is something we’re really proud of. Not just for us, but for what this brand represents. 🍉🌄🌶️🩵💛🚡🫔

13 years ago on Easter, Danny and I had our first date and our first kiss. I had just moved back to ABQ from Austin, TX and he had just moved from ABQ to the PHX area. By a twisted chance of fate we ended up meeting, and falling head over heels.

Fast forward to 13 years later we just spent a week working non stop to open our place at , being interviewed by and taking pictures with . ♥️💚♥️💚

You never know where life will take you…life brought us both back to ABQ about 9 years ago, two years ago Danny came to me with this beautiful idea and the last 6 months of our business have been a whirlwind!

Our story started in ABQ and we both could not be more proud where this journey has taken us.

Whether you call it Albuquerque, Burque or The Duke City….we always call it home 🩵🩵🩵
