I hope you all have a safe and fun Halloween!! These are the costumes I have made in years past! My kids are too old for me to make their costumes now 🙄Show me your costumes!!

It's the little details for me! They are the parts that might go unnoticed, but I am adamant at getting them just right. 🪡

I am not a fan of carving pumpkins, but I do it anyway because my kids love it! Do you carve pumpkins, or do you paint them? What other fun Halloween traditions do you do? 🎃

Everyone deserves to feel a little more comfortable and a little more like themselves, even on the hardest days. ❤️

I recently started making handmade head wraps and can customize them to fit your style, favorite colors, favorite team, and personal preferences. I’d love to help create something special just for you or someone you love. I can make them in a variety od soft stretchy material to fit your needs.

These can also make a thoughtful, heartfelt gift for someone going through treatment. Sometimes, it’s the little things that bring a little extra comfort and a smile.

Here is a little peek at the behind the scenes at Needle Nest!

Every handmade piece right starts here, in my approximately 8 square foot sewing room in the basement! I have three basic machines with different purposes. Nothing fancy here; my highest priority is to keep prices fair and provide handmade quality items with USA sourced materials. ❤️

Running a small business is such a funny mix of things.

Some days I'm feeling super productive, crossing things off my list and feeling like I've got it all together.

Other days, I'm surrounded by fabric, have 12 things half-finished, and somehow made an even bigger mess than when I started.

Your future self called... and she said buy the sherpa headband! ❄️🪾

For less than $20 you can save yourself from the annual regret of saying "I should've dressed warmer!!"

You know the feeling, you are rushing around to get to an event, your kids game, a professional sport event, and you don't think about your head. You get there and your ears are freezing, the wind is personally attacking you, and suddenly you're questioning every life decision that led you outside.

Don't do it to yourself again, sitting there looking like a popsicle! Message me for custom prints.

Help me spread the word by sharing this post with someone who is ALWAYS cold!

A little reminder from me...

Some of my favorite fabrics and prints are limited releases when I purchase them, and once they are gone, I am not able to restock them!

If you've had your eye on a particular headband, hat, scrunchie, or other handmade item, now is a good time to reach out or order. I also love making custom pieces, so don't be afraid to ask if you have something specific in mind!
