DELICIOUS MORNING ☀️TO YA! DO YOU PRACTICE JOURNALING? In my highschool and college days I had a really serious journaling habit. I wrote about what had happened in my day every night before bed. I would unpack and release any unpleasant experiences from the day then celebrate and review any good things. I also wrote things I wanted to happen coming up the next day, later in the week and for my life overall.
During my younger years, I wasn’t fully familiar with the benefits of keeping a journal and writing things down. I didn’t understand that writing my visions and making them plain helped to adjust the frequency of my vibration so that I could align with all the things, people and experiences that I want(ed). I didn’t understand that writing things down is pretty much the same as writing my reality into existence.
But now I do.
I like to journal in the morning within the first hour of waking and also in the evening before I go to sleep. In the morning I use journaling as a way to pre-pave my day. In other words I write down what I’d like to experience over the course of the day ahead.
I write about how I want to feel. Sometimes confidence is key other times I want to feel productive, happy and/or receive clarity.
I write about the people with whom I want to render-vous, chew the fat, make connections and make deals.
I write about what I want to share with the world as I interact with people along my path. How will I show up and what will I offer to people in the elevator, at the grocery store, and even with upcoming clients? How will I shine my unique light and deliciousness with the world?
Now that I live in the suburbs and have a significant driving commute, I also often journal about how I want to show up in those moments when another driver does something I’d wish they did NOT (yall know what I’m talking about🤔😳🤷🏾♀️)
I write all that I want to experience in what I call NowTense; I write as if all that I desire already exists. I write as if it is happening NOW. It already exists.
I may begin my entry with “there is a Now when” then I fill in what I want/imagine as if it is now. For example I once wrote “there is a now when I consistently have 100 + participants in my Delish Life Morning Club, round after round. The committee, curious and open women and men participating experience the benefits of the rituals I share with them and that they practice daily. They can see the desires of their reality coming to life. They notice how much happier, more focused, more productive, more confident and more connected to God Source Energy they feel day after day. They enjoy adding flavorful, nourishing vegetables to their breakfast meal. They love the burst of energy they feel after moving their body. They love the feeling of accomplishment they experience as they check each box in their completion Calendar. Through the love, energy attention and leadership they receive from me participants feel seen and supported. They enjoy their delish Life Morning club experience so much they invite their friends to participate with them! I deeply enjoy meeting and nurturing new participants and deepening ties with repeat participants. The Delish Life Morning club is practiced all over the world! And so it is”
You see how I wrote that in NowTense. I didn’t write it as if it will happen some day. I wrote it as if it exists now! That’s the key.
Then I night I like to journal about my day’s gratitudes. I take a few minutes to write down 10 things I’m grateful for that day and in life. I try not to repeat. I figure there are so many things to be grateful for I don’t need to repeat. Sometimes I find new ways to say the same thing which still counts in my book. 😉🤷🏾♀️🩷.
Morning or night journaling is one of the ways I co-create my day and life. I’d love to know said you journal and what do you journal about?
