Congratulations to Sunday's winner of the MODA Fire Horse Award! We're particularly excited for Kara Corpman as she has volunteered countless hours to our organization and currently holds a board member position!

"Congrats to our Junior rider Margot Pontia and her horse "Atlas" on finishing up Intro Level this season as National Dressage Pony Cup year-end champion for small horses. They also had an epic year debuting at Training Level, making it into the top ten scores at USDF Region 2 Championships and finishing as USDF All-Breeds champion for Jockey Club Thoroughbreds"

We want to congratulate Janet Cohn and Winnie at the MODA show accomplishing qualifying for Regionals!

“Winnie and I had a very hot but successful horse show this past weekend and we qualified our First Level musical freestyle for Regional Championships! Thanks to Renee Peters Dressage for all her hard work and patience with us!”

Congrats to these two! Kara Corpman and Tin!

Thank you Renee Peters Dressage for not laughing at me when I text on a Monday asking if I'm crazy to consider entering a show for Friday (at a level I've never done, after being gone for 9 days on vacation, and having just completed six weeks of ulcer treatment), just because they were taking late entries.
This weekend Tin and I tackled
Third level test 3 for the first time at the Mid-Ohio Dressage Association Classic (literally, Friday's test was our first full run through!). We handled a sprung shoe as we were getting ready to load Thursday (thank you Josh Knotts for coming out early Friday
AM to tack on a shoe four hours before our first test) plus insane heat and humidity, to earn a qualifying score for Region 2 Championships.
We have so much room for improvement but I'm beyond grateful for where I'm at and motivated to continue to get better.
It's crazy that a year ago we were doing our first 1st level freestyle and now we're halfway qualified for Regionals at 3rd
Lots of things
to work on for august!

Sincere appreciation is extended to Foxridge Farms for affording Renee the opportunity to showcase their exceptional 9-year-old Kannan x O-almacorada Holsteiner mare, Sundays Girl, at her inaugural dressage show, where she demonstrated remarkable ability by scoring 70% or higher in all performances. This exceptional mare boasts an impressive competitive record as well as a temperament that is extremely welcoming to amateur riders, and she is currently available for purchase. Interested parties should direct inquiries to Renee for additional information. Congratulations to Renee on her outstanding inaugural appearance!

Congratulations to Kara Corpman!!
In only our second 3rd level test, we earned our USDF Bronze Medal Were we perfect? No. There's lots of room for improvement, but knowing I'm holding my own against more experienced competition is so rewarding. This time last year we were at First level and Tin was a total newbie to dressage and recognized competition. I'm so proud of my little OTTB and so grateful to have this opportunity! Thank you Renee Peters Dressage for the guidance, we couldn't have done this without you!
