One of our recent clients bought DVD-R’s from us, and when we asked how she planned to use them, she shared she was making playing card holders for her mother.

We’d never heard of these before.
She explained:
"My mother has terrible arthritis and loves to play bridge with her friends. Unfortunately, they are having difficulty holding their cards too, so I decided to make these holders. They are light weight and thickness of material allows the player better grip."
⬇️ Below is an example of her work.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Cut interfacing/fusible fleece (in the shape of DVD).
2. Cut outward material (a bit larger than the shape of the DVD).
3. Press them together.
4. Sew around the material’s edge.
5. Pull/gather thread, so it folds over and covers the DVD’s edge.
6. To connect two DVD’s, place a button on either side, and sew them together.
TO USE:
1. Place the cards in between the CD’s.
2. Have fun.
