Free Garage Sale Friday and Saturday (June 19-20)! Help me repurpose items from clients I’ve worked with the past 2 years. All items are free with the goal or finding new homes instead of ending up in a landfill. 1702 Clark Ave in Ames.

Friday 10am-5pm and Saturday 8am-12pm

Many different items but big categories are kitchen, home, women’s clothing, arts & crafts, and puzzles & games.

Sharing a couple of book recommendations for anyone trying to become more organized in their spaces or lives:

Atomic Habits by James Clear: I highly recommend this book to everyone. Whether your ultimate goal is to make a big change in your life or something very small, the tips in this book can help you get there in a logical way.

How to Keep House While Drowning by KC Davis: This book is a quick and easily digestible read. KC takes a very realistic approach to discovering and implementing systems that will work for YOU. Many "self help" books make claims that doing a few easy things will make everything better. The fact is that the same methods are not practical for every person in every situation.
