The Mermaid's Tale We are a stylish boutique, filled with gifts, fashion & helpful, friendly service! You want to look great, feel great and make others feel the same.

Owner, Judy Recknagel, opened The Mermaid’s Tale in 1992 as a gift and antique shop. A few years later she phased out the antiques to bring her customers all the offerings of a woman’s boutique. She was excited to share her love of jewelry, handbags, clothing and so many more fabulous accessories with her customers! That’s where we come in. We have beautiful items in every price range. Whether it’s jewelry, handbags, clothing, shoes or an amazing gift, we have so many unique choices. Our staff is always on hand to give ideas and recommendations. We make shopping so fun and easy in our warm environment that people just can’t help coming back again and again!
