Remember that Andover Great Room renovation? The finishing touches were completed by the contractors this week! This room got it all — new furniture, carpeting, wall paint, custom built-ins, chandelier …. and that fireplace 🙌 An entirely new room that suits the family’s needs and taste just in time for holiday family gatherings and cozy nights by the fire. Today I took my love for home decorating and made a little Santa visit to a friend who has suffered significant loss on many levels this year and is in a temporary living situation. They did not want to celebrate Christmas, and did not feel like they had a home. Everyone deserves to be at home for Christmas, even if it means redefining your idea of home, and Christmas. I’ve been there and I’ve had so much support. Today it felt so good to pay it forward. Count your blessings and pay it forward ❤️ Here are a few pics of my joy today.

I really enjoyed working on this fun Family Room makeover! A few new pieces of furniture, a fresh new wall color, decorative accents throughout ... and beautiful custom built-in bookcases to enhance that stunning shiplapped fireplace! The focal point of the room, just in time for cozy nights by the fire this holiday season. With all this extra time at home, creating these cozy spaces has become more important to me than ever. I was so happy to pull it all together for this wonderful Andover family! Enjoy the before & after photos ❤️

It’s decorating day for long-time North Andover clients (who are now more like family)! I’m headed north and so honored to be helping them realize their dreams at their special new vacation home in the beautiful lakes region of New Hampshire.
