This refashion was a process:
1. Sleeveless dress that fit no one in this house. Zip repurposed for a denim dress.
2. White Jones NewYork dress shirt with fabulous cut, cuffs and sleeves- but 20+ years unworn in my closet turned it to a dingy yellow.
3.One Rit dye bath in Navy
4. What felt like hours snipping diamond fabric away from the embroidery.
5. Spray baste and a lot of topstitching.

All it needs now are some great new buttons and cuff links.

This belted, button-front denim dress needed some serious upgrades: a bright gold zip from another dress that was destined for Goodwill (the tie- belt was repurposed into the zipper plackets to cover the button holes), sheer floral bell sleeves and collar/pocket embellishment from a fabric remnant. Back darts to nip the waist.
