Trempealeau County Fair 2026 has arrived- please be patient with me messaging you back these next 7 days, as life gets pretty chaotic. We wouldn't want it any other way though! Come support your local kids down in Galesville if you have the chance. They work year round with these animals and become quite attached. Going down this year- two steers Jasper and Socks, two heifers Veronica and Bo Peep, and 3 chickens, Barbara, Goldie Hawn and Sally, all showing the same day too. Wish us luck- and patience 😂

This family will be leaving our area soon and moving to another state, so this mama wanted some pictures here before they left. I think we had the perfect Wisconsin type session for them with the barn, grasses, and trucks, that I think will help remind them of their time while here. I wish them all the best as they travel back to her home state out west and hope they can put a few of these pictures on their new walls out there to make it feel like home again

Last night I had another girl that I've known well for many years now due to being in the same 4H club. Our families show animals together and I know the passion she has for her animals, most especially her horse Reno, and that was the focus of our session last night. It almost brought tears to my eyes and I'm not even mom 😂 She is a beautiful girl inside and out and it brings me joy to share these images with you all

This little guy had a bit of a hospital stay to get him ready to go home as he came quite early. But now that he's home, mom wanted me to capture family photos in an outdoor, lifestyle type style. It was perfect light this evening as I befriended their older boy to get the most perfect shots for them. Enjoy every moment now that you can all be home together as a family of four.

This beautiful little girl slept like a dream and made today's session so very perfect. Adding in fresh flowers is something I try to do and I sure love being able to do the family shots outside- so you could say summer is my favorite month for shooting newborns! I am fortunate enough to have two sets of what I call bonus kids in my life. These are kiddos that have spent extra-ordinary amounts of time with us and truly feel like one of my own kiddos. She lived with us for a short time during covid and we've taken them out west and on trips in the past, so it was such a pleasure to be able to capture the true girl I know. Sports are definitely her passion and dresses are not her thing, but she surely wears them well. I loved that at the end of the night, when I wanted this perfect sunlit photo, the sun would not cooperate, so we left did other shots and came back, and for a few very short 10 seconds, the sun peeked through the clouds and gave us the perfect sunset light. I'm positive that was her mama, sending us that love from up above. Thank you Becky, we love and miss you too! But don't worry, her daddy's done an amazing job raising this respectful and talented girl and she is going to do wonderful things in her life, that I know

This little guy had a rough start, but got to get home and settled within a week or so. You wouldn't know it now though as he was the most relaxed little guy for me. Give that little man some food and watch him sleep! He is most well cared for by his big brothers and I'm sure will bring so much happiness and excitement into this home. Enjoy every moment guys!
