This is exciting! Way to go, The G5 Trail Collective!

Old Fort Trails Project Approved and Funded!
Construction of First 6 Miles Begins Immediately!
 
Today, we joined with the community of Old Fort to announce plans to build 42 miles of new, accessible trails for people of all abilities and backgrounds in Pisgah National Forest. The US Forest Service has formally approved the plans, and funding for construction of the first six miles of the system has been provided by the Dogwood Health Trust. Groundbreaking on the Old Fort Trails Project will begin in January 2022 and the first sections of trail and parking area are slated to open by late summer.
 
This is not just another trail project. This is history in the making.

📣 we’re hosting for TWO group runs/walks on Wednesday, 10/20 (6pm at MRC- Black Mountain) and Thursday, 10/21 (6am at RAD Greenway/Supper Club) to demo these shoes:
🔸Fresh Foam 880v11 (great for all workouts; 10 mm drop; cushy but lightweight fresh foam that molds to your foot; molded heel counter helps protect and control your heel’s movement)
🔹Fresh Foam 1080v11 (lightweight but very cushy ride; bootie-like upper hugs your foot; 8 mm drop; Ultra Heel design hugs your back of foot and heel for extra support) .

Tomorrow, Tuesday, 9/21, we’re kicking off our in line for fall racing Series at our Asheville shop! We’ve got a workshop-a-week for several weeks, so come by, learn and meet our experienced area providers who exist to keep you, our athletes, healthy! 🤩

Hi friends,

Effective immediately, and per Buncombe County regulations, masks are required while inside our shop. If you don’t have one, we’ll happily have them at our door for you to grab. To meet our customers’ needs, we’re also offering these alternatives to ensuring continued customer service:
- outside shoe fittings
- virtual shoe fittings
- free delivery in 28801, 28805, 28803 and 28806
- outside normal hours fittings (before 10a, after 6p)

If we can help you with anything, please let us know. Please call or DM us with requests for virtual/after hours fittings or delivery, as those will have to be scheduled. Thanks, folks! ❤️❤️❤️
