Pretty neat! 🚘 🎄 🛷

Over a decade ago, a 1972 Buick Skylark came through our lot as an impounded vehicle. Time passed, life moved on, and the car quietly became part of our everyday scenery.

On a whim, we listed it for sale last week and received hundreds of messages...but one from Martha stood out. She sent us the photo in the lower left corner and said she was pretty sure this was her husband’s old car, one he had sold years ago. Her hope? To reunite him with it for Christmas.

We had the absolute honor of making that happen. Reuniting this Skylark with its former owner Ronald was a moment none of us will forget, and there wasn’t a dry eye around.

Cars carry more than steel and chrome. They hold memories, milestones, and pieces of our past.

Moments like this remind us that towing isn’t just about moving vehicles...it’s about people, stories, and doing the right thing when the opportunity presents itself. ❤️

Mecum KC 2025 had some great cars, trucks, road art neon signs, and mini bikes this year. Mecum also raised money (thanks to very generous bidders) for pediatric cancer research. ❤️🤍🖤
