I've been having a lot of fun playing around with skirt shapes recently! This is another outfit I made for swing dancing. The fabric was dyed using a shibori technique, and created from three staggered squares. The top is one long strip with a couple belt o-rings to fasten it.

I made this fun outfit from a tablecloth found at an estate sale! The fun challenge with this project, was figuring out how to make a top from the small circle of fabric created from cutting out the waistline. It has the perfect skirt to go dancing in!

It's official I have finished my thesis and earned my MFA! I'm graduating from Ohio University with an MFA in Costume technology with an emphasis in costume crafts. I did my thesis on looking at different materials used to craft armor including steel, aluminum, leather, chainmail, and worbla. I created everything in my outfit including styling the wig!
