Meet Our Founder
I am Melanin Cotton, known for my reserved persona yet outgoing and comical personality. Not being one to engage or utilize social media much, posting pictures of my latest shoes or sometimes even just my feet became a way for me to check in with family and friends. As a way to say “I’m still alive and in my prime,”. Over the years this became routine for me and those around. You would see my feet often times more than my face. I was comfortable this way. My interest began to peak when I would be complimented or asked where I bought my shoes from. This interest was the beginning of a journey I would not otherwise have imagined in this life- the birth of Novam Honey.
Novam Honey was created for the woman who’s not always the loudest one in the room, in fact she may have the most to say but reserve conversation for only what is need to be said. She does not fit into a box. She is in a lane of her own and her style- well you have to see it to believe it. This line was created for her. You are her as she is you. Whether it’s date night, a night out with the girls, brunch, or vacation, I am here to assist in your journey to becoming more of you. A new journey, a new honey, Novam Honey.
