Say what you will, but there’s validity in simply showing up when injustice desires to take over. The people in Minneapolis continue to fight to draw attention to their plight, and the general strike they successfully staged a few weeks ago is a model worth emulating.

RL SPORTS: It’s not as simple as the Patriots trying to emulate what they saw the Rams do in three games against the Seahawks this season. Personnel matters. How each offense approaches second down, particularly second-and-manageable, will likely decide the outcome of this game.

We love Michelle Obama, but taking the high road in politics is a recipe for disaster and losing. We can no longer afford that.

When they go low, we go even lower. That’s how you win elections. That should be the model for the remainder of this decade for Democratic leaders. The moral high ground does nothing to protect people from state-sanctioned violence, keep a roof over their heads, or keep their healthcare costs affordable. ENOUGH.

The red line in America has been crossed. The only question that remains is this: What are you going to do about it?

The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was a radical who advocated for the redistribution of wealth. The final years of his life were treacherous, and when he ultimately, rightfully, came out against the Vietnam War in his ‘Beyond Vietnam’ speech, he was vilified by allies, journalists, and politicians alike.

This Black History Month, we will not lionize the whitewashed King. We will teach, preach, and carry the torch of his radical propositions - true economic and social freedom and justice for all people.

Still fighting for humanity...

10/28/2025

The problem is that in the year of our Lord two thousand and twenty-five, we’re still fighting desperately for Black people to be seen as human beings worthy of humanity. Anyone who dedicates even part of their life against that initiative is someone unworthy of our grief.

Alright man. What happened to Charlie Kirk is a tragedy. Full stop. Murder is always wrong. Period. No caveat.

That being said, I used to live in Arizona, where Kirk lived. People I love and I have been faced with the direct consequences of his ideology and ethos for years. We’ve been abused, harassed, and had guns pulled on us. His work helped make political discourse and civic engagement more violent, more dangerous, more troublesome.

I have not and will not celebrate his death, nor will I stand idly by while there’s a concerted attempt to sanitize his life and life’s work. I stayed quiet for the most part because it was about someone losing their life, and I don’t have nuanced words about that.

But when you attempt to make someone who sowed nothing but division a martyred saint, that’s an affront to my faith and my Savior that my convictions simply won’t permit to go unaddressed.

Death does not absolve one of what they did and said in life, and any living soul who TRULY believes in a resurrected savior, who truly believes we’ll give an account for the things we do and say on this Earth to a brown skinned, risen Savior, won’t absolve those deeds either.

Unfortunately, violence in America is politics as usual.
