I didn’t grow up knowing how to build an online business. I wasn’t handed a blueprint, and I definitely didn’t have a clear step-by-step plan.

I started this journey not really knowing what I was doing… just a laptop, a vision, and the decision that my life was going to look different because of my decision to LEARN HOW.

I was tired of feeling stuck and watching other people live the freedom I knew I was capable of. So I stopped waiting for the “right time,” and I started Investing in myself to learn the skills that could actually change my life.

That one decision led me to building a profitable online business that replaced my corporate income and allowed me to work from anywhere... FULL TIME.

Now I teach women how to turn what they already know into income online… without needing a huge following, a complicated strategy, or waiting for permission.

I lost everything the day my mom passed. But not in the way most people think.

Yes, I lost her—my best friend, my biggest cheerleader, the woman who taught me how to love, lead, and serve with excellence.

But I also lost the version of me who thought I had more time.

You see, my mom was an entrepreneur. She owned a beauty salon and managed multiple rental properties. She taught me about hustle, service, and showing up for your people. But when she got sick, her business got sick too… because her income depended solely on her ability to show up and work.

And I watched that happen with my own eyes — as her daughter and her caregiver.

At the time, I was working a dream job on paper — producing for NBC, ABC, and later working behind the scenes with major Hollywood studios like Tyler Perry Studios, Disney, and Amazon.

But you know what wasn’t a dream?

Not having the freedom to be by my mother’s side when she needed me most… because I had to clock in.

That broke something in me.

I knew in that moment: I would never again let a paycheck dictate how I showed up for the people I love.

So I started building a business — not just to make money, but to build freedom. I wanted location, time, and financial freedom so that when I do have a family of my own, I never have to choose between being present and earning income.

It took years of trial and error, but everything changed when I finally invested in a mentor.

Mentorship gave me the clarity, the strategy, and the shortcuts I desperately needed. That’s why I created the Adorn Boss Business Academy — because no one should have to figure this out alone.
