What if your eye color became a jewelry collection?
I gave AI a photo of my eye and asked it to look beyond “brown” and pull apart all of the colors it could see.
Amber. Warm brown. Taupe. Smoky gray. Mossy green. Muted blue. Even touches of lavender and deep teal.
Then I asked it to translate that palette into jewelry.
And THIS is what it created.
Now I kind of want to take this out of the AI world and actually make a small Pink Poppy Trading Post collection inspired by these colors.
So tell me:
Should we make the Eye Collection for real?

Not mass produced.

Not something you’ll see on everyone else.

Something chosen because it caught your eye and felt like YOU.

That’s one of our favorite things about handmade jewelry.

Every Pink Poppy necklace starts with us.

Choosing the beads.

Playing with colors and textures.

Finding the right pendant.

Changing our minds.

Taking it apart.

Putting it back together.

Until it finally feels right.

And because we create our pieces by hand, no two collections are exactly the same.

Some are colorful.

Some are simple.

I stopped by A Better Today Books & Boutique in Marietta and fell in love with their bookmark charm bar. It’s such a fun way to create a bookmark that feels completely personal—and it definitely sparked a little inspiration for Pink Poppy Trading Post.

Chris Stapleton on stage, my favorite person beside me, an outfit I felt good in, and of course…a little jewelry.

Nothing groundbreaking happened that night.

We just went to a concert.

But I think these are the moments we sometimes forget to appreciate while we’re living them—the ordinary nights that somehow become the memories we keep.

The song. The outfit. The person standing next to you. The way you felt.

Maybe that’s why I love jewelry so much, too. A necklace can be just a necklace…until it reminds you of where you wore it, who you were with, and how you felt that night.

This is how we’re ringing in fall at Pink Poppy… denim, leather and a whole lot of jewelry.🤎

We made this junk jewelry safety pin brooch by layering chains, vintage-inspired beads, pearls, sparkle and all those little mismatched details that somehow look even better together. Then pinned it onto a denim jacket, added one of our leather bolo necklaces and decided this might just be our kind of fall outfit.

We love pieces like these because there really aren’t any rules. Mix your metals. Layer the unexpected. Pin jewelry to your jacket. Wear the thing that makes a basic denim jacket suddenly feel like you.
