He has directed and produced numerous popular animated TV shows such as "The Ren & Stimpy Show," "Kim Possible," "Brandy & Mr. Whiskers," "American Dragon: Jake Long," and "The Penguins of Madagascar," among others. He directed a music video for the song "Hidden in the Sand" by the indie rock band Tally Hall. He also directed the Tinker Bell film "Tinker Bell and the Legend of the NeverBeast" from DisneyToon Studios. In 2020, he served as an executive producer on the series "Marvel's Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur." Loter was contacted by actor Laurence Fishburne for the role and approached musician Raphael Saadiq to compose the score and provide songs for the series.
