Once a C-section, always a C-section is no longer the automatic answer.

Many women are candidates for a VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean), but too often they aren’t told all of their options.

A VBAC can offer:
✨ Shorter recovery time
✨ Less risk from repeat surgery
✨ More mobility after birth
✨ A different birth experience

That doesn’t mean VBAC is right for everyone. It does mean that every mother deserves evidence-based information, informed consent, and a provider willing to have an honest conversation.

Your previous birth does not determine your future births.

Whether you choose a repeat C-section or a VBAC, the goal is the same: a healthy mom, a healthy baby, and a mother who feels respected and empowered throughout the process.

Have you had a VBAC? Were you encouraged or discouraged from trying? Share your story below.

I’m a husband’s girl.

I pay attention to how people treat him.

I notice the little comments, the lack of respect, the passive aggressive digs disguised as jokes, and the way some people expect him to tolerate things they would never tolerate themselves.

And once I see it, I can’t unsee it.

And if you expect me to sit back and smile while someone disrespects the man I love, you’re going to be disappointed every single time.

Newborn skin is incredibly delicate, and it’s completely normal for it to go through some transitions! 👶🏾✨
If you’ve noticed bumps, flakes, or redness, don't panic. Check this out for a quick guide on 5 of the most common newborn skin issues and how to handle them at home:
1️⃣ Diaper Rash: Keep it dry, change frequently, and apply a good zinc oxide barrier.
2️⃣ Cradle Cap: Harmless but flaky! Gently massage with baby oil before bath time and brush lightly.
3️⃣ Baby Acne: Usually clears on its own, just stick to water and gentle cleansing.
4️⃣ Milia (Milk Spots): Trapped keratin that will disappear naturally. Whatever you do, do NOT squeeze them!
5️⃣ Dry, Peeling Skin: Perfectly natural adjustment to the air. Stick to short, lukewarm baths and a good hypoallergenic moisturizer.
Save this post for later so you have it handy when you need it! ❤️

👶🏾 Tongue Tie: Signs Parents Should Know 👶🏾

Tongue tie occurs when the tissue connecting the tongue to the floor of the mouth is shorter or tighter than usual, which may affect feeding, oral development, and tongue movement. While these signs can sometimes be associated with a tongue tie, they are not enough to diagnose one on their own.

🔍 Possible signs to watch for:
• Difficulty latching during breastfeeding or bottle feeding
• Clicking sounds while feeding
• Poor weight gain
• Lip blisters from frequent friction during feeding
• A heart-shaped appearance when the tongue is lifted
• Limited tongue movement
• Maternal ni**le pain during breastfeeding
• Oral tension or feeding challenges

⚠️ Keep in mind: A small jaw, double chin, or lip blister can have many causes and do not automatically mean a baby has a tongue tie.

If you have concerns about your baby’s feeding, growth, or oral function, consider consulting a pediatrician, IBCLC (lactation consultant), pediatric dentist, or feeding specialist for a comprehensive evaluation.

💜 Early support can make feeding more comfortable for both baby and parent.
